The Race for Life mud run on the 12 May saw Emma cover 5k of obstacles and mud pits. Emma and her three friends managed to successfully complete the challenge, a fantastic achievement which helped her raise a superb £300 for Cancer Research.

Emma commented; “The mud run was really good fun and a completely new experience for me and my 3 friends; Emily, Kelly and Harriet. I am aiming to do something different each year to raise money for charity – as I’ve done a normal run before I thought a mud run would be good fun whilst raising money for such an amazing charity. I chose to support cancer research in memory of my Grandad Terry as well as everyone else who has lost their life or had theirs affected by Cancer – and hopefully for a cure! Thank you to everyone for all of the support and donations.”
