We’re delighted that our National Technical Manager, Glyn Parker, has been appointed to the Technical Committee of the <a href=”https://fork-truck.org.uk/”>Fork Lift Truck Association</a> (FLTA). With more than 18 years of industry experience as a fork lift truck engineer, trainer and field support engineer under his belt, Glyn is well qualified to help the FLTA support its members with the technical advice, expertise and resources necessary to maintain and operate fork lift trucks. Glyn was also instrumental in setting up the content and syllabus for the internal City and Guilds qualification for Fork Lift Truck Apprentices, which was acknowledged by the Association of Colleges with the prestigious Beacon Award for Excellence. Through a series of technical bulletins, fact sheets and legal and policy documents the Technical Committee helps FLTA members to deliver the levels of information and support that will enable their customers to work more efficiently while also maintaining workplace safety.
