It’s not just Motocross and Superbikes that we have been supporting recently; our customer’s drivers have been facing their own challenges at the latest Bibby Driver Challenge too.
Nine contestants paid a visit to our Service Centre in Cannock, utilising our popular Demo Area to understand a number of challenges including a theory test, a pre-shift check test and practical tests such as the tough task of navigating an aisle-master through a very narrow course created using pallets.
The challenges were designed to test the limits of their theoretical and practical knowledge including accuracy and safety when operating materials handling equipment.
The contestants all did a brilliant job, and using a points based system the six highest scorers earnt their place in the final at Rockingham Speedway this coming June.
Participants came from a wide range of Bibby depots including Blackburn, Bury, Corby, Doncaster, Norton, Scunthorpe and Wisbech.
