Toni Collier put in an incredible performance on Sunday at the London Marathon 2018, completing the 26.2-mile race amid record temperatures of more than 24C in just 5 hours 25 minutes and 11 seconds.

Toni was hoping to raise £2,500 for chosen charity Newlife, however she has surpassed this quite considerably, raising more than £3,200.

 Congratulations and well done Toni!

 Toni comments:

“My just giving page total has now reached £3,200, which is fantastic, so a huge thanks to everyone who donated.

It was definitely the toughest run I have completed so far due to the heat, where I believe parts of the course reached 28 degrees from the heat of the road.

A fellow participant, Matt Campbell,  passed away at mile 22.5, therefore I have pledged to run 3.7 miles on Saturday in his memory, along with hundreds of other runners (#FinishForMatt) and I will also be donating to his just giving page:  www.justgiving.com/MattCampbell-LondonMarathon.”
