Briggs Equipment’s apprentice engineer, Connor Campbell, has helped raise over £3,000 for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) with a charity football match held at Clyde FC’s Broadwood Stadium.

Alongside his brother Marcus, Connor co-ordinated the event and took part in the match itself, which was attended by more than 100 spectators. The money raised from the event will help SAMH to continue providing their outstanding mental health services and support to communities throughout Scotland.

Esther Speck, Briggs Equipment’s Charity Team, commented: “As a business we were delighted to get involved and make a donation to a fantastic cause that is  helping support people through such difficult and challenging times. As an Apprentice Engineer, Connor has already grasped the importance we place on charity fundraising and it’s great to see his dedication and organisation in putting together this event.

“Congratulations Connor and Marcus for all your efforts and hopefully there will be a rematch next year!”
