More garden transformations with a little help from BriggsWe were delighted to join forces once again with the production company responsible for the popular TV series ‘Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh’ and help create inspirational gardens for deserving families around the UK.  The JCB telehandler 531-70 provided on special loan from our short term hire fleet can lift up to three tonnes to heights of over seven metres, so it made light work of some of the lifting jobs.  Telehandlers are among the diverse range of more than 5,000 machines that we offer for hire.  Flexible contracts range from as little as one day up to 12 months and we tailor them to suit individual customer applications and budgets.  This is the second year running that we have supported Britain’s most watched gardening show. The eight episodes in the 2016 series aired weekly on ITV1 in the primetime 8.00pm-9.00pm slot between June 28 and August 2.  Alan Titchmarsh, David Domoney, Katie Rushworth, Frances Tophill and their team put the telehandler to work in Nottingham, Hull, Canterbury, Bolton, Eastleigh, Durham and Eastbourne.  It was used to pave the way for new planting and to install water features and sculptures as the professional designers, horticulturalists and contractors transformed ordinary domestic gardens into wonderful outdoor oases.  Thea Pitcher, Associate Producer on the garden makeover show, was delighted to work with us again. She said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Briggs Equipment for their support on the latest series of ‘Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh’. They are such lovely people, so helpful, and the JCB telehandler is a really smart piece of kit that made life on site so much easier.”
