With half of the season already completed, the picturesque Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire plays host to the fourth instalment of the 2020 British Superbikes Championship. Despite the shortened schedule, the entertainment on show from the BSB riders has been sensational. Seven different riders have so far claimed victory meaning the race for the title is wide open.

Following a tough start to the season, Smiths Racing’s Pete Hickman will be looking to challenge further up the leaderboard this weekend and record a first podium finish of the year. Despite the results so far, the mood in the Smiths Racing camp is positive ahead of this latest round of races.

“Oulton Park is much more of a technical circuit compared to Silverstone” said Pete.

“I’m confident that we’ll be able to use the strengths of the BMW much more than we could at the last round. We’ve got some ideas to try and solve some of the issues we’ve been having so I’m looking forward to seeing what this weekend brings.

“I’m very much looking forward to heading to Oulton. It’s a shame that there won’t be any fans trackside again, but we’ll be going out to put on a great show for everyone watching at home.”

An added bonus for BSB fans, is the news that the Oulton Park meeting will be live on free to air television via QUEST. The COVID precautions that are in place for sporting events up and down the country has meant that spectators are unable to attend the BSB meetings, but this weekend you’ll have the opportunity to watch the action unfold live from the comfort of your living room.

Smith’s Racing’s Crew Chief, Darren Jones, commented:

“We are delighted that this weekend’s race meeting will be live and free to air on Quest.

“This BSB season has been strange without the fantastic support of the crowd from the stands, so it’s good to know that everyone will be able to tune in from home for what should be another exciting weekend of action.”

You can watch this weekend’s racing on Quest from Saturday 11:45am and Sunday 12:15pm, via:
