Forklift trucks working in hazardous areas where there are flammable materials that could ignite, require special treatment to avoid explosion, outlined by ATEX, which refers to two European Directives. The Directives require both companies operating within potential explosive atmospheres, and their equipment suppliers to manage the risk and process safely.
