Jake Dixon returned to the podium last time out at Oulton Park and as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Snetterton this weekend (June 15/16/17), the RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki rider is determined to maintain his run of form.

Dixon claimed a second and third place in Cheshire last month and as the team head into their home round this weekend, he is feeling confident of adding to his podium tally following a successful test at Knockhill earlier this week.

Dixon said: “I can’t wait for this weekend; it’s the team’s home round and I really like Snetterton. It was the first track I ever rode a Superbike and the track is mint so I am looking forward to it. My fiancée Sarah was recently given the all clear from cancer so I feel really good coming into this weekend.

“I have my focus on the second half of the season and this is where the ball really starts rolling. I think this year so far has been funny; it has been a bit mixed for everyone and we have been fast in all conditions in practice and then in the race for different reasons it has gone wrong where I have made mistakes or whatever.

“We then had two really solid results with a double podium at Oulton Park and then that continued into the Knockhill test so hopefully we can carry that on again into this weekend. I feel happy and I know I can be on the podium and win races. We need to start doing that to push for the Showdown and I am ready to go out and have fun this weekend!”
